Steebs’ Method, a jazz-rap band straight from the Groningse bodem. Born from a deep drive for creative freedom and autonomy, Steebs’ Method blends boom bap beats with mystical jazz textures and philosophical, storytelling lyrics. Groningen based artist STEEBY (Jesse Kortenschijl) was inspired at a young age by the honesty and storytelling within hip-hop. In recent years he emerged as one of the leading voices in the Northern hip-hop scene, with releases like 'Alright' and 'Rat Race', sold out two shows at Simplon Poppodium, and played all throughout the country. Starting 2024, he joined forces with The Method, a jazz inspired hip-hop band consisting of up-and-coming musicians from the northern Netherlands and beyond. The band is known for their energetic live shows, featuring complex compositions, virtuosic solos and head-bobbing beats. The combination of the powerful yet vulnerable lyrics of Steeby and The Method’s raw creative energy ensure a unique and inspiring live experience for any music lover.
