Tricky - one of the most influential and fearless genre-defying artists of the last decades, welcomes even more fans with an outdoor concert at Vidas Art Arena on June 12. The legendary artist's scheduled show at FOMO is moving outdoors to a larger stage to gather everyone wishing to experience the star's new live concept. All previously purchased tickets remain valid without revalidation and require no action from the audience.
Tricky has his own musical language with slow, dub rhythms featuring influences from rock, blues, post-punk, and other underground movements. Born Adrian Thaws in Bristol in 1968, he started his career in the legendary The Wild Bunch, a predecessor of Massive Attack. After his participation in the album Blue Lines (1991), Tricky made a breakthrough with his solo debut Maxinquaye (1995), dedicated to his late mother Maxine Quaye. With his characteristic dark samples, music seemingly blending multiple genres, and whispering dark vocals, Tricky became one of the key names defining the trip-hop sound. Over the years, he has remained true to his independence and experimental spirit - both through solo albums and by working with artists like Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, and Björk. With his most recent collaborations with Polish singer Marta Złakowska, Tricky demonstrates once again that he continues to create bold, genre-defying music with a clear vision.
After dozens of tours and nearly 30 years on stage, Tricky is ready for a new reimagining of his thrilling discography, presented in a live experience that will also come to Bulgaria.
